Barry took this portrait of me in the nearly finished kitchen tonight so I finally have a decent picture of myself. Bo wasn't supposed to be in the picture but he sneaked in and looked so pitiful that we didn't kick him out.
Oh I LOVE the red! I am trying to convince my husband to paint our cabinets BLUE! Our country kitchen is red/blue and yellow...with the walls being yellow. The cabinets are a honey oak...so they tend to blend into the walls. The blue would set off my black granite counters! I am planning on bartering some decorating advice for a quilt after the holidays. Maybe SHE will suggest the blue..and my husband will relent! WISHFUL THINKING!
