Listening in on a conference call

Right now I'm in a conference call with Jay Cannon, the COO of Webmedx (my employer). He just told us that about 35% of medical transcription is down outside of the USA AND that nearly the same percentage is done by ASR technology. He stresses that we need to transition to being paid for what we know, not what we do.

  1. Was that during the meeting today? Perhaps I should not have skipped it, but in the excitement of the massive amounts of snow we're dealing with, I forgot all about it.

  2. You can still listen to the recording, I think. It was interesting.

I thought Word Verification would be enough to discourage spammers, but evidently not. So I'm turning on Comment Moderation for awhile to see if that helps. Please don't be deterred from leaving real comments. I love them!
