First Day of School, 2009-2010



Oops. K told me specifically NOT to post anything "corny" about it being the first day of school. Ummm, not sure what I AM supposed to write. Anyway it's too late.

It was not an auspicious start. Neither of their alarms went off, and then K had a major (as in, major for a high school sophomore) catastrophe of not being able to find his handmade hemp necklace. He nearly missed the bus, too.

    I think you refrained from corniness. Corniness would have been a sappy post involving pictures of them as babies on on their first day of kindergarten . . . I know this because I am planning just such a post for Thursday when Ryan starts first grade. ;)

I thought Word Verification would be enough to discourage spammers, but evidently not. So I'm turning on Comment Moderation for awhile to see if that helps. Please don't be deterred from leaving real comments. I love them!
