On the family room floor. Photos taken for blog and also in case a catornado whips through and scrommels up the blocks before I can stitch them together.
Yes, it's a pretty basic old one - some kind of pinwheels though I don't know exactly what one would call them. I wanted a classic old design for these repro fabrics.
love the colors and pattern...and LOVE The 'caternato' word picture! still giggling over that...I like to take pictures too. My boo boos seem to JUMP out at me..so i can fix them before I piece/quilt/and bind (I did find a HUGE mistake after the quilt was done! now I take pictures!)

Sorry about the catornado .. but I really, really, like this pattern ... it's an old pattern (yes/no)?

I should take another picture now, lol
I like to take pictures in case my stuff falls off the wall-
like your layout!
There always seems to be some kind of whirlwind when we get a quilt laid out. Your quilt is fabulous!
I blamed the cats, but then I caught my dog DIGGING A HOLE in the middle of the layout for some unknown reason.
What a wonderful quilt! Love the 1930s fabrics.
I use a design floor a lot and have a similar problem with the puppy chasing the old cat ...happens every time. The quilt is lovely!

very smart to take a pictue of the layout.
I completely understand your catornado: we have dogtornados here. Prior to the storm, your quilt was looking really good.
Catornado...I've got to remember that one. LOL
Seriously, the quilt is fantastic!!
That is going to look terrific when you get it finished.
Very pretty, I love it. I think that it is soft and has great pattern to it.
