Well, I got one right! (Robin. But bluebirds sound a lot like them, and we get both.) None of the others come to my yard on a regular basis, even though I do have bird baths (multiple). I put out seed that other birds like, but I pretty much just get house finches, bluebirds (they nest in my bluebird boxes), chipping sparrows, goldfinches, mourning doves, and mockingbirds. Occasionally, we see tree swallows and others. There are a lot of others in the area, but they don't visit my yard except rarely.
I know so little about birds. I love them and enjoy their singing, I have just never taken the time to learn about them. Something I should correct, I'm thinking. My favorite to watch is the hummingbird. I have many at my house and love watching them. Enjoyed the bird songs!
I thought Word Verification would be enough to discourage spammers, but evidently not. So I'm turning on Comment Moderation for awhile to see if that helps. Please don't be deterred from leaving real comments. I love them!
