I found this oak clock case at Goodwill for seven bucks. It was someone's craft project. There was a broken quartz clock in it (without pendulum) and a cross-stitched clock face with a picture of a duck. Not my taste AT ALL.
I took it all apart, thought, "This really needs a pendulum," and bought this Quartz Clock Movement and Pendulum Set on Amazon.
I then took a picture we had had taken of my husband's family at his mother's funeral last August. I used Photoshop to desaturate the colors to turn it into a black and white, used a bit of a sepia filter, and printed it out on acid-free paper.
Here's the new/old clock.
