Volunteer Tomatoes


We only planted romas this year, but look what else we got. Volunteers from last year's varieties.

I'm still waiting for my tomatoes to ripen up ... only one has turned red about two weeks ago ... this week has warmed up ...so there is a slim chance of hope left ... next year I'm finding a better spot and planting earlier. I found a few tomato plants growing around the base of my apple trees ... from home made compost no less ... I love free plants ... free tomatoes would be even better
