

Look what I found while sorting fabric! Four beautiful vintage aprons. I had stashed them away in a box of vintage cotton fabrics (mostly flour sacks) for mending old quilts. I just rescued them and added them to the apron collection.
That yellow one is particularly interesting, though my lousy photo probably doesn't show it very well: The design is actually cut out bits of fabric from another piece, maybe a kitchen towel, that were sandwiched inside the hem of the apron, whipstitched into place. So it just sort of peeks through the semisheer yellow fabric. So pretty!
