A letter to the editor in our local paper appeared a few weeks ago telling of the eeeeee-villllls of hysterectomy (she called it "castration") and exposing the astounding global medical conspeeeeeeeracy against wimmenfolks by doctors who just want to make a dishonest buck.
Of course guess who couldn't restrain herself from a (polite but firm) rebuttal letter? That's right. Me.
The week following appeared another (slightly more coherent and less redneck-y, thankfully) letter sending me to my room in disgrace, and I'm going to leave it at that. I think I made my point to anybody with a brain.
But if you ever find yourself in need of a laugh, check out HERSfoundation.org. Wow. Scary people.

Man, I wanted to read your rebuttal letter (having been well, "castrated" myself many years ago).
I've been reading your blog for a while, and was under the impression that you are sane.
Now I know the truth. You are the kind who "writes letters to the editor." Gasp!
I'll give you a pass, though. Sounds like you were at least trying to remain educational.
Next time, bring the crazy! I live for those LTEs!
